First 9 Weeks

What is your impression of the first 9-weeks of High School?
The first 9 weeks of High School have not been as difficult as I thought it would be. I have been enjoying my classes, meeting new people, and doing activities that interest me.

What has been difficult about the transition from Middle School?
One thing that was challenging about the transition was that many people already knew each other while I knew only a few people. Most of my friends from Middle School did not go to the same school as me.

What has been easy about the transition?
I have had many great friends that I have meet this year who have made so far be there for me while I figured High School out. I have teachers who do not give a lot of work and are very understanding about things that are going on and know the transition can be difficult.

What have you learned about yourself?
I have learned that I am a strong, independent person who can overcome any challenges thrown at me. I have learned more about who I am as a person and who I want to be as well as just accepting myself in general. This makes doing anything that life throws at me easier and more fun.
